Workplace Lab Podcast- Workplace Lab Podcast: Episode 35 w/Tim Dalhby- From peer to manager (older coworkers) | Communications Gag-order | HR: Friend or Foe?

1024 774 Workplace Lab

Today I am joined again by Tim Dahlby, fellow HR expert, and we answer 3 more of your questions. All of them have a figurative “water cooler conversation” tone to them, so it was fun. Our first question comes from a recently promoted employee who now supervises their coworkers who are a fair bit older than them. We also explore a question about a gag order around talking to other employees about recent job changes. Finally, we answer a question from a weary employee who is not sure how to react to the sudden presence of HR in an adjacent cubicle.

Workplace Lab Podcast- Episode 34 w/ Kyle Davies: Link between Health & Performance | Fatigue Mgmt | Opioid Dependency | Resilience

1024 715 Workplace Lab

In today’s episode I am joined by coach and author Kyle Davies– founder of energy flow coaching, which is a holistic approach to mind and body health to improve performance. Kyle and I discuss the linkages between health and performance, mental health, fatigue management, resilience, and even the opioid crisis ravaging the western world.

If you have ever tried to”fix” your feelings or apply the adage of “mind over matter” this episode is especially for you, as Kyle points out some flaws of ignoring our bodies’ signals to us.
